Indira Gandhi National Open University established a Regional Centre at Vijayawada, which is an economically, culturally and politically vibrant town in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. That is situated on the Banks of River Krishna and in the midst of Eastern Ghats. Vijayawada town is a hub of commercial, cultural, educational, transportational networks.
