Dr B Prasad Babu (1973) completed his Ph.D in Psychology from Andhra University. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Director (Academic) at the Indira Gandhi National Open University Regional Centre at Vijayawada. He has authored, co-authored and edited over 65 books in both English and Regional Languages. Additionally, he has published more than 25 research papers in National and International Journals including those indexed in UGC Care and Scopus. Furthermore, he has been contributed over 150 articles to various magazines and newspapers in the dicipline of Psychology and Education.

         Dr Babu is a member of different Expert Committees in the fields of Psychology, Education and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities. Under his guidance, one Ph.D and 6 M.Phil Degrees have been awarded and more than 25 PG dissertations have been completed. Presently, he holds the position of Honorary Chairperson for the UG and PG Board of Studies in Psychology at Acharya Nagarjuna University and is a BOS member in Psychology and Yoga at various Autonomous Colleges and Universities. He also serves as an Examiner and Adjudicator for Research Degrees in Psychology and Education across various Universities.  He has been registered with Rehabilitation Council of India as Rehabilitation Psychologist in 2000.
